After the Trembling Age, seven rural Tuscan communities fused humanism and technological acceleration, creating the Ruralia Federation in 2051. Each community - Castelnuovo Val di Cecina/Larderello, Isola di Pianosa, Buriano, Lucchio, Bacchionero, Lamole, Poggio di Santa Cecilia - developed its own specializations, pooling its resources with the others.
